Helping Our Homies
On January 23, 2025, we distributed essential cold-weather supplies to unsheltered individuals in our community. With dangerously low temperatures, these items played a crucial role in helping to prevent frostbite and providing warmth during the bitter cold.
We are grateful for the support that made this possible and remain committed to assisting those in need during extreme weather conditions.
Upward Basketball Concessions Stand
With eight weeks of games completed, this season has been an incredible success! Every Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, young athletes from kindergarten through 5th grade hit the court, with cheerleaders bringing energy and excitement to the event.
Now in our second year of involvement, we've seen a fantastic 30% increase in player and cheerleader participation. Extended Hands, Inc. proudly sponsored and operated the concessions stand, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Upward Basketball Program. These funds help maintain the facility, covering heating, cooling, janitorial supplies, and essential upkeep to keep the space safe and welcoming for players, families, and fans.
